I liked my painting my fall leaf. It was very fun. I liked mixing red and yellow to make orange.

I did not know that the paint yellow and red would make such a cool color. I made the leaf impression with crayola clay by playing with it and then we made it into a weird pancake shape. Then we got leaf molds and we pressed the molds into the clay. It came out like a real leaf! Then we painted it.

I made this by stamping the leaf. Then I painted it. I loved doing this project!

"Making the leaf shape with the dough was my favorite part. I made my leaf thinking about the leaves that fall in our yard...and how it takes so much time to rake them up! If I were to remake it, I would not put so much red paint on the other side."
