When I look at the tree, it looks like the wind is blowing through it! I think it`s pretty good for my first artwork on artsonia!

Shelby3773 says this about his/her art...
First we sketched out a tree, then we painted it on the paper. We could only use purple, turqoise and blue for the picture. We also put salt on the picture so the salt would soak in. When it dried, we scraped the salt off. Then we used black craypas for the birds. We used a plastic fork for the grass and painted over the tree with black.

Gabrielle2356 says this about his/her art...
I made this by sketching in pencil first, then drew my sunset with pastels, then waited a day before painting the sunset colors over the pastels and then the the tree and grass with black paint. I like how this piece has a lot of texture and it really sticks out and people recognize that it is Africa. If I could change something -- well actually, there is nothing I would change about it.

Lahzris1 says this about his/her art...
-The colors, I liked scraping to make the grass, also I liked the birds.
-Inspiration...My teacher told me to
-I would change it to blue, purple and light blue. Because I like being cold, and its cool.
-I learned that trees from far away at night in the sunrise look black, and the birds come up.
-That it looked really cool and I really liked it
-ummm, how do you describe it??? I did it because my teacher told me to. I used red and yellow because its like fire and it looks like the birds are going away from the exploding fire. -Lahz
