My favorite piece of this art work was the shape of the head. My least favorite part was the way it looked after i painted it with water colors. My inspiration for this piece was a character modeled to look like a realistic person. If I were to create this again I would have taken my time on the water color more so that the skin color looked less orange and i didn't mess up the eye. When creating this piece I learned more about the structure of the face and how to sculpt a head. It surprised me how difficult it actually was to sculpt a head. To create this artwork I first rolled out a large slab then rolled it around newspaper to create the shape of the head. After this I added the different facial features such as eyes, mouth, nose, and ears. After this was fired I blended watercolors to make skin tone and paint the eyes and mouth.

my favorite part of this project was creating the fish. the inspiration for the fish was to make a fish but have it look different and still resemble a fish. i would make the tale stronger so it wouldnt break off. the colors came out a little different then i expected.i got clay then rolled it out and then designed a fish and then painted it.

My favorite part of the artwork was the whole thing. One thing that i really liked doing was the painting because I got really creative with it. My inspiration was a tropical fish from the ocean because i like how vibrant they are. I would not change anything about this project because I think I did an amazing job with this. I learned how to acrylic paint very well. Also I learned how to make a fish out of clay. I was surprised at how good this peice of art came out. First we rolled out a slab of clay and then we made it three dimensional by putting newspaper under it. Then for the final part we used paint to color the fish and make it look good. Then we put a wire on it to hang it on the wall.

My favorite part of this artwork was the bright colors. My least favorite part of this artwork was the tail. My inspiration for this piece was bright tropical fish. If i were to create this again I would have made the tail smaller and skinnier. While creating this artwork I learned to use textures in my clay. Nothing surprised me about this artwork. To create this piece I first rolled out a large slab then I cut it to the shape of fish I wanted. Once I did this I added different textures to my fish for scales and added fins. I also added eyes and cut out a mouth. Before it was fired I put in two holes at the top to add a wire handle. Once it was fired I painted it with pink, blue, yellow, orange, and green acrylic paints.

this was fun to make the face. it was requires that we add all facial features, but instead of hair i did an exposed brain. the clay is painted with water color and it was very hard to get a flesh tone. i went with an orange because it seemed to go with the face.

this is a chia painted rose. this was a interesting project because i got to learn how to use a completely new media of art. it was very difficult to get the hang of china painting, it requires a lot a patience and firing. the end result is always amazing.

My favorite part of the artwork was working with the water colors and doing the face paint on it. The inspiration for the artwork was to make a head or a character that represented you. If i could change anything i would change the hair because it is not very good and i would want to give it more texture. I learned how to sculpt a face to make it look very human like and very realistic. We also learned how to use water colors on the project and how to apply it to clay. The only thing that surprised me about this work is how real some of the faces turned out and how hard it was to apply the water colors to clay because they were very runny. To make this work we sculpted a head and then we put some facial features on it and then we fired it. After that we put water color on them and then i used acrylic to make the face painting on it.

My favorite part about this piece is the colors I used. My least favorite part was how the purple china paint looked in the background. My inspiration for this piece was all the women who achieved things that changed the world who were born in December. If I were to create this piece again I would have made the purple lighter in the background. While creating this piece i learned all about china painting. I learned the basics on using sugar water mixed with china painting. I also learned that it takes many fires to complete a project like this. Something that surprised me about this artwork was how many times we had to fire it and how long it took. To create this piece started with a blank white tile and made an outline of our flowers. We then fired it and started using color. Once we did a certain area or subject on our piece we fired it so it would be permeant. After about 5 or 6 fires our project was complete.

My favorite part of this art work was the end project. My least favorite part of this project was doing the actual china painting. I did not like this at all. The flower was the month of my birthday and to honor women around the world. i would try a lot harder because it does not look as good as i could make it. I learned how to work with china paint and a lot of other handy techniques that were used in this project. yes, i was surprised at how hard painting this tile was. First we took a tile and then we china painted the flower on to it.

For this project, we made fish. We got to make whatever shape, size, and color fish we wanted. My favorite part about this piece would probably be all the different textures I put on my fish. I made it like this so you could see all the different textures fish have. My least aconite part would probably be how I arranged the colors. After I had painted the fish, I realized I didn't like some of the colors where I put them. I loved all the colors because they were all vibrant but not where I placed them. The inspiration for creating this fish was actually making your own kind of fish. And what kind of colors I could use and textures, like scales on a fish for example. If I were to create this fish all over again, I might change where the colors are and which ones are brighter than others. When you start making this fish, you get a ball of clay. After that you roll out a slab of clay. Then you decide if you want a big or small fish. I wanted a small fish so I made mine small. After that you put newspaper on the fish to give it the 3D effect. Then you put textures if you wanted to. You would then poke holes in it to put wire in it after you've finished it so you can hang it up.
