kim823 says this about his/her art...
- What is the artist's favorite part of this artwork? What was the least favorite?
i really like the purple with the white glass on it, it looks original and definitely wearable as a piece of jewelry. but my favorite would have to be the two toned one because i like the colors together and i think its actually pretty neat with the 'robins egg blue' because its not a normal color you would use.
- What was the inspiration for creating this piece of artwork?
honestly, i had no inspiration i just went with whatever i was feeling that day and this is what came out of it.
- What would the artist change if he/she were to create it again? Why?
i would probably make it a lot neater because the edges and stuff are really messy looking.
- What are some of the concepts the artist learned while creating this artwork?
that you have to be super careful because the enamel could blow of or you could tip it wrong and it could fall off and it makes the piece look messy.
- Did anything about this artwork surprise the artist?
yes, because i did not intentionally make the two colored one to look as cool as it does it was just supposed to be a simple half one color half another.
- Describe what you did to create this artwork.
i used the enamel powder and dusted the copper with it and then put it in the kiln to melt it and make it glossy.
