Doing this artwork helped me learn about color changes. The black lines that we put helped me to see all of the variety of the coloring. My favorite part about the picture is the biggest pumpkin that is upright.
This artwork was inspire by a photograph. It is done in watercolor. Elements of the lines contrasts light and dark. The dominant theme are the pumpkins in the patch.
My artwork is awesome! I used lines, shape, form, color, texture, value, rhythm, repetition, pattern, harmony, accent, variety, and balance to help me do this.
I decided to call this Pumkin Godzilla because all of the tiny pumkins are in the big pumkins shadow. It was also halloween around that time and we were not allowed to make jack "o" lanterns so I made a monster pumkin. My inspiration was that when I went to the wax museum in New York I saw a wax statue of Godzilla that was very tall and imposing. So, I decided to do a pumpkin Godzilla.
