You definitely captured the symbolism in a dramatic moment. It's interesting that without reading your artist's statement, and living on the west coast, I took it to be all the fires we had this summer. The bird seemed like the science that is clearly defined but unable to do much, in the minds of people anyway. Then I read the artist's statement and said, "oh yea". But most importantly, it is a very nice piece.

The sky is very nice. Especially with the autumn sun starting to track lower on the horizon here at 42° N Lat, the sunset colors are familiar. The emotion is receptive, like a vessel. The sky in this work bring that feeling real. Without detail is well done; delete the words.

Drawing hands is always challenging - even for Michaelangelo- i thinkbyou did a creatvjob drawing the hand holding the bouquet. The drawingvof the flowers is lovely, too. Keep up the good work!

i like how you used positive snd negative spaces and created a structure with the flower pots :)

The evergreen trees help make the scene look look very wintery. Since you live among palm trees, this entire winter scene must have come from your imagination and/or from pictures or ohotos of snowy scenes. Thanks for sharing this art with me :)

I really enjoy Ava's chosen subject's to paint. The expressionism's portrayed come out believable and true. I enjoy the growth in her artistic mind each time she hands in a project assigned to her. Keep it up Ava, I'm so proud of you.

I'm so very proud of my Ava. I'm so happy that she has found such passion in something so early in her life. The art's run strong in our families, and we are all very proud of her achievments.

I’m sure that the wooden figure with movable joints helps you sketch people in many different positions. Sketch away.

I am so proud of the way Ava is able to bridge the imagery in her heart with the talent coming from her brush stroke's. Her use of color's are matched-up gently enough to compliment each other. The vibrant purple shedding into a light magenta ,.. beautifully lying above the two cozy trees joined at the hip, and enjoying each others company beside a lake. That's the way it spoke to me, and I truly love it. Keep up the great work sweetheart, Love Dad?

Such three lovely sunflowers reaching up to the sky. It looks like you enjoyed using the oil crayons. I see that you created different textures with them - the bricks, the sky and flower stems and blossoms. Keep up the good work and, most of all, have fun!

This is very good work. The reflections on the grid make me think I can touch it and grab it. I want to see in behind there.
