I thinks I've seen the "model" somewhere before....hmmm.. on your dresser?... It's a really neat choice. Would like to see a darker background for application to cups or t--shirts.

Remy, this is a fascinating exploration of one's emotionality. The colors are intense. What were you feeling as you painted? Is it possible to be sad without anger - or angry without sadness?

Remy, "Canadian Spring" is beautiful -- and very reminiscent of areas in Canada in which your Grandpa and I have traveled!! Does it remind you of places in and around Banff?

This artwork is really good! I love the contrast between the black and the different shades of blue. I also love the colors of blue you chose and how they gradually get lighter/darker. Great job Remy!!

A sparing retro-look at the beginnings of French impressionism. Monet, the gardener, would have saturated this subject with thousands of pointillist dots but here instead the artist conveys an impression by drawing the observer in, rather than pushing out in all directions. The addition of the cupped hand as vase above the canvas introduces an aspirational human layer. Altogether a new take on the whimsical garden!
