This is great and so You! It looks like you thought if everything. Hey, wait a minute. I don’t see any snacks! Good work Michelle, I also like the little enhancements you added by hand.

You always come up with such original and creative ways to express yourself! You are amazing! Another winner!
- Grandma on May 13, 2020

Michelle, great choice! You look as beautiful as the painting!

This looks like a very cozy cabin. The outhouse is a nice touch, but I’d want one with indoor plumbing!
- Susan (Mother) on April 22, 2020

Nice environment for any cabin dweller! You’ve thought of everything including hills to climb and a pond to swim in plus an outhouse! What more could anyone want?
- Grandma on April 29, 2020
Love it! It looks so tranquillo! Especially nice touch with the tall evergreen tree in the forefront, how you can see bits of the trunk all the way up. Nice subtle touch! Love UL

This is very interesting! Loved the movie and since I think I see Dolly Parton, I'm guessing it's connected. Tell me about this activity. Have you seen the movie? It's an oldie but goodie. We'll have to watch it sometime together!
- Grandma on April 29, 2020

Another cute guy! Is he a relative of the other guy with the spaceship? Love the message of peace. Keep sending your reassuring messages of peace!
- Grandma on April 15, 2020

Nice work! Very impressive the way you drew the magnification of the spoon under the water! I like the realistic fruit next to the glass as well. Looks like I could reach out and touch the glass and fruit independently. Well done!
- Grandma on April 15, 2020

I think this is my 2nd review of this artwork! I like it as much now as I did the first time I saw it! I love the fact that the end of the message is Peace! I also love his gecko-like toes and foot! Pretty cool spaceship home too! I'm amazed how the shades and shadows in his eyes that you created give them so much depth! Well done! Keep up the great work!
- Grandma on April 15, 2020

Michelle I think this little green guy is very cool, I like him even better when he’s folded up! The spacecraft turned out well too!
- Susan (Mother) on April 1, 2020
How fortuitous that they have a name that means George. And you know what that means!!! The only thing left to do is hug him and squeeze him ?? Keep up the good work! Love UL
- Uncle on April 8, 2020
Obviously this guy is from out of this world! Love his 3 toed foot! He must be part gecko. Glad he comes in peace! Amazing how you shade his eyes to give them depth. Very interesting interpretation of an alien!
- Grandma on April 8, 2020

Some lucky whale is going to love this delicious looking plankton! It's more colorful than your morning cereal! I love the shading you did and the mixing up of the detailed circles in various complimentary colors! You have a real eye for detail and colors! That's a job well done!
- Grandma on April 8, 2020
Wow! I love the movement in this piece. There is a lot going on but you’ve also left places for the eye to rest- like the soothing use of color in the triangular shapes. Your ability to blend colors and pair colors so well continues to impress me. I really like the swirls and the triangular shapes you chose to use; they compliment each other in a surprising way. Great job!
- Susan (Mother) on March 31, 2020

This reminds me of a friendly alien. His body is the big green circle with the mouth, and his eyes are the purple circles above. I can see his eyes dancing as he talks to me! The colors you used are pleasing together too. Very nice!
- Susan (Mother) on March 31, 2020

This looks a lot like Oscar! Especially the way he’s hovered over his food bowl! You can tell that you have a lot of creativity; as I look at only the ink blots, I wouldn’t have seen a dog, but you did a great job of creating one from the series of blots you were given.
- Susan (Mother) on March 31, 2020

I love butterflies! I love the way you accented his shape with the additional”Vs”. I also like the composition of the piece, the heavy object is low on the page and the purple stripe balances it beautifully! There is so much detail in the wings due to the shading. Well done!
- Susan (Mother) on March 31, 2020

I think I see Oscar in your picture! You have quite an amazing gift to visualize what others may not see and so happy you share it. Was easier to see dog on this larger version of the artwork! Congratulations--you've done it again!!
- Grandma on March 31, 2020

This has so much movement with the swirls of color flowing around the circular elements and throughout the piece, and the way you have more of the darker, heavier color red near the bottom with lighter yellow at the top. I can't see your comment on how you created it, and I'd love to learn more. Its so very interesting!
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

This mandala is really interesting. The red lines running through it make it appear to shimmer and move. It's really rich in color and texture. I really like looking at it. Perfect for meditation :)
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

This one reminds me of Epcot!! I love how that purple stripe complements the hint of orange at the edge of the butterfly's wings. Really nice!
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

Beautiful composition! I love the blue and green tones you've used. They are a nice backdrop for her beautiful face and bright blue top. You're very good with blending & shading skin tone. Looks so real!
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

Great use of color here and shading, Michelle. This really pops out at the viewer. Basquiat's work is so vibrant. Interesting play on names, n'est-ce pas?
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

Hi Michelle, I love this piece! I see Oscar and love how you recreated his lion-cut and the movement of his fur. He would be very proud to see this.
- Nancy on March 31, 2020

Learned a lot about Michael and his life through your dialogue description. Well done!! When I first looked at your artwork I knew it had something to do with graffiti! You captured that idea in an interesting way. Keep up the good work! I’m always impressed by how you achieve your results! ??
- Grandma on March 11, 2020

You know I love blue so this is the perfect piece of artwork for me! Reminds me of blueberry pie! Can't do better than that!
- Dottie on March 11, 2020

Looks like the beautiful blue butterfly we saw in Costa Rico years ago! Loved it then and love it in your artwork! It's protected by a lovely umbrella! Where do you get your creative ideas? Amazing!!
- Dottie on March 11, 2020

Hi Michelle, This girl is lucky to be in your picture. She is surrounded by lovely designs. That's probably why she's smiling! You are very good at drawing faces! Nice!!
- Grandma on March 4, 2020

This looks like the Keys on a wavy day! No fishing this day!! You certainly caught the movement of the waves. Glad I'm not on a boat with these waves nearby!
- Grandma on March 4, 2020

Michelle, your artwork keeps getting better and better! What you do is amazing!! Keep these great pieces of art coming! I love them!! :-)
- Grandma on March 4, 2020

Great work, Michelle! Love the sly smile on the girl's face. Looks like she's listening to the bunny telling her a secret! Very sweet picture! Keep up the good work! Love, Grandma
- Grandma on April 29, 2020

You certainly know how to use all the technical devices available to you! I'm very proud of you and amazed at all you have learned! I agree with all your comments and can see your pretty hair in the artwork displayed. Keep up the great work!
- Grandma on February 27, 2020
Hi Michelle nicely done! I bet it took longer than expected. It looks pretty straight forward, and then you notice the pattern in the shirt, and the shading the the twinkle in the eye! Before you select one for your official avatar try one with a wink and one with a smile. See which one takes ;)
- U.L. on February 27, 2020

This robot definitely makes me happy, but with one eye bigger than the other and his tilted smile, I wonder if he is up to something, hmm? I can picture him saying "ooh la la!" The pencil thin mustache and the beret help to identify him as a French robot. Very cute! Nice work! Love, Mom
- Susan (Mother) on January 30, 2020

This is amazing, Michelle! You certainly have patience to be able to create this beautiful Aztech looking creation! Can't wait to see what you create next! Love you, Grandma

I feel happy! It’s just like I’ve landed in Paris! Very cute!!??
- Dottie on December 18, 2019

Wow! You've done a beautiful job capturing your own pensive expression. Excellent play of light and shadow on the face and in the hair to add dimension and texture. I like how the yellow umbrella in the background balances the piece.
- nancy on November 7, 2019

It feels like a nightmare, dark, shadowy, and his vacant, open expression. I like how you've used the dark charcoal around the figure to give him dimension--his right hand almost looks like its moving--scary!
- nancy on November 7, 2019

Michelle, I love the texture of this piece and how you've created movement with the subject and the background--and leaves blowing. Even the grass has movement. The frame is nice, too. Its whimsical and complementary, and draws your eyes in to the artwork. Great!
- nancy on November 7, 2019

Who’s the lucky girl to help you on this project? Great use of colors in repeat patterns. She really stands out in her contrasting colored outfit. Well done!??
- Grandma on November 7, 2019

What an interesting medium! Love the total look. It’s like looking out the window at the lovely fall colors here now! Wish you were here to enjoy it with us!!
- Grandma on November 7, 2019
Wow! I love The liveliness of color you used in this piece!! It feels like a beautiful crisp autumn day in Wisconsin! The border is cool and is something I hadn’t seen you do on your other pieces. It makes it feel really playful. I just love the whole thing!!
- Susan (Mother) on October 26, 2019

I like how thick the letters are which make the piece more nice and cute, I also like how you used light blue, which goes very well with white and gives off a ocean vibe.
- Sage on October 21, 2019
Michelle< I wasn't sure if you had seen my comment. I love this painting. I love the soft color of blue that you chose. I like it with the white lettering, it reminds me of the sky and clouds.
- Susan (Mother) on October 12, 2019
This is an interesting piece. You did a really nice job with the shading--it looks really nice.
- Nancy on October 16, 2019

The grading of color from dark edges to luminous center is really nice!

This is really cool! I love how the images pop from the background.
- Nancy on October 16, 2019
Michelle, This looks Egyptian to me and I think you carried the theme throughout very well! I love the background pattern plus the colors you've chosen to make the items in the forefront really stand out! Good job!
- Dottie on October 16, 2019

Michelle, I know why you chose an M as your focal point! I love the shading and shadows you've created! Well done!
- Dottie on October 16, 2019

Michelle, I think you are very creative and think through your project before you begin so the end effect is very interesting!
- Dottie on October 16, 2019
I really like this one! It feels cozy because the letters are small and all lowercase. It is reminiscent of 101 Dalmatians because of the randomness of the spots and that they fill the page well. I like the way the text is arranged on the page in an orderly fashion, but that the change in size and color and uneven shape of the “blobs” add interest to the whole thing. Nice!
- Susan (Mother) on October 8, 2019

I really like the colors you chose. I especially like the swirls in the background.
- Susan (Mother) on October 8, 2019

Michelle, I like the dominance of the M and the bright light behind it. I also noticed the M’s reflection and think that’s wonderful!
- Susan (Mother) on October 8, 2019

This is a great light painting photo! The light in the background gives it a cool effect! The Flamingo is drawn great.

Nice work! I love how the lines of the bricks and the designs/color of the scrapbook paper you used all point toward your subject for even greater emphasis. Very cool.

Never saw photo sewing before! I love it! Of course I love the colors you've chosen to go with it. Where did you get the flowers? Can I have one of the photo sewing creations--or two? You are so creative!!
-- Dottie
- on April 15, 2019
What a cool project! I suspect that stitching on a photograph is not easy, and you did a lot of detail. I especially like the detail you stitched into the flowers in the hands! It looks like you’re really holding them.

I love the subject matter you chose to photograph. I think the sharp edges of the pictures help meet the project criteria. Pointy plant, pointy photo corners. Plus green is my favorite color! Nice job! Love, Mom
