Hey, Lily-Lo, Your Van Gogh is very colorful! I've just got a little time to write, but I'll see you tonight and tell you more about how much I like it! Love, Grammy

Lily Vanilly, These eyes are indeed emotional! You did a great job making them look realistic and verrrry sad. Tell your friends I liked theirs, too. The red ones usually looked angry, and the ones with blue usually looked sad. Some of the ones looking sideways or crossed looked scary! Yours are my favorites, though. I love you. Grammy

Love your dinosaur! You remind me of Nico when you draw like this.

Dear Lily, Today I took time to review all your artwork on Artsonia, and I saw your communion plate from March. I don't think I saw it when it was first published. I love the colors and all the symbolism! The way you decorated your chalice reminds me of the Jesse cup you and Mom made for me during GIFT last November (and it's one of my favorite things). I'm so glad I looked back and saw it--I'd hate to think I had missed it forever! And I am so proud of your artwork and of your first communion! Grammy

Lily Gorilly, This dinosaur is sooo cool! Is it a diplodicus? Or a brontosaurus? You know the long-necks are my favorites, don't you? (Did I ever tell you about the diplodicus skeleton I saw at the British Museum of Natural History?) And the colors are really attention-getting! Did you draw all the dino's innards, too? That really took a lot of attention to detail! It was so realistic looking (vertabrae, etc.) that I first thought that part was done for you. Then I noticed that your friends' dino pictures had different innards! You all did such great jobs! I love your imagination, my dear. Almost as much as I love you. :-) Grammy

That is one groovy dino, I love the colors, and you know how much we at our house "dig" dinosaurs :) Thanks for sharing little Ms. Artist! Hugs, Amanda's mom

Lily-Lo, Your bamboo is a forest! I really like it and I'll bet Merlot would, too. Can't you just imagine her climbing around in there? If you look at the painting another way, it looks like a sky full of wild geese flying, like a scene from Winged Migration! Either way, it's awesome. Keep up the good work, Grammy

Lily, This is one of your best! It's very evocative, very moody. I'd like to hear the story or background that inspired it. You are lucky to have Ms. Siebenmorgan teaching you about different methods and media. I am proud that you are learning so much. Wish I had had someone to teach me! Keep up the good work! Grammy

Dear Lily, When I opened my email today and saw the notice that you had posted new art work, I was so excited! And when I saw your Noah and the Ark painting, I was blown away! I think it's the best one you've done yet. That rainbow is really colorful, and I like the tiny dove Noah sent out. My favorites are the tiger and the spouting whale. I am so glad you are developing your creative side! I love you. Grammy

Lily, Your nativity scene is beautiful! I especially like the colors--the night sky is my favorite color, I think. Your figures of the Holy Family are very well done, too. I can't wait to see more! I love you, Grammy

Lily, What a wonderful farm scene you colored! It is so vibrant! I want to hear all about what the visitors from the American Dairy Association told you. (I'll bet they said Holstein cows produce good milk.) Keep up your good work!

Lily, Your black cat sleeping on a rug reminds me of Ichi Ban and Figaro. But I like your pink and purple and green rug better than the dark green rug they usually sleep on. Keep painting and drawing and coloring! I love you,
