Sophia, I thought I sent a comment on this one but I must have not have saved it. I really like the shading of the blues and shape of this girl. It is like the most comfortable dress that you could wear with colors flowing into each other like water in the ocean. Beautiful work. Grandma

Sophia, I just discovered these when I posted a comment on Mr. Snowman. These are interesting. The green one almost looks three dimensional with curves. The gold one has depth with the rusts along the sides of the golds. I like the lighter triangles on top. The gray and white reminds me of a pattern I see in some of my quilt patterns that I find attractive. Thoughtful, interesting work. Grandma

Sophia, We love your snowman. His details and shading bring him a three dimension that is new in your work. He looks lively and fun. The shadows give a realistic quality to the drawing. The dripping snow on the branches are a nice touch. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of work. Grandma and Grandpa

Sophia, This figure is more unfinished than the others but the colors are a closer transition which reminds me of the batik fabric that I use in my quilting. I love the blue, green, purple combinations that blend so closely. She almost seems more modern than the first two women. Grandma Leslye

Sophia, I love the texture to the dress and the waves on the skirt that give it movement. Again I love the shading and your use of color gradation. The fact that this lady is different from the first in her figure and hair shows variety in your figures. Grandma Leslye

Sophia, Your drawings show that you have developed good proportion in the figures and realism. What I especially like is your use of color and how it transitions from one color and shade to another. It makes the dress and figure more interesting and eye catching to view. Grandma Leslye

Sophia, This is a very dynamic landscape. If this was real, I would love to sit on the porch and chat with you. We could go swimming in the lake or hiking in the mountains. Your playhouse looks large enough that I could sit in it to read a book or draw. You included such interesting details like birds and a variety of trees. I must wonder ... is that an old volcano lava flow like we saw in Hawaii..wow. Thanks for sharing. Love, Grandma in the mountains
