Hi Hadley, These dolphins are so you! They look like a pair of very happy dolphins, such pretty colors of blue. You are so lucky to have such a great art program at your school. Love, Nana

Love your fruit bouquet, especially the cherry on top! Green is one of my favorite colors, so really enjoy the use of all the different shades.

Love this painting Hadley. Nana saw the original Mona Lisa at the world famous Louve Museum in Paris. I was surprised to find out it was a very small painting.

I love this picture you drew, and I love that you are able to share it in this way! Papa Kevin and I went to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam which is in The Netherlands. We had to wait two hours in very cold damp weather to get enter. It is a very popular museum. Did you know that Van Gogh painted 3 or 4 similar sunflower pictures? Many times his sunflower pictures and other paintings are on loan to art museums around the world, like Philbrook for example. The word sunflower in Italian is girasole, which is the word for gyroscope. A gyroscope turns in a circle. The face of the sunflower turns as the sun moves its position in the sky. So like a gyroscope (girosole) the sunflower turns in a circle so it's face will always have the sun shining on it, hence the reason they are called sunflowers! You would never want to plant them in the shade!??????????
