Kathryn, I enjoy this bird's eye view of your homework setting with notebook, papers, a snack plate, mug, and tissues. Oh, and playing cards! How nice to have a sofa and pillow for stretching out to rest a bit between assignments. You've composed an intriguing setting and photograph. Congratulations!

I like the photo! Cool perspective and angle... where are you in that shot? Is that Sunday River? Do you have the one of Liz in the hall way with her floating head?

Kathryn, this portrait is expressive and alive with feeling. I sense the boy’s sincerity and thoughtful concern and attention to the people and circumstances in his life. Very well done! Mummum

Kathryn, we continue to be amazed by your artistry and portayal of not only the appearance of your subject, but also the personality of the person, animal, place or activity. This dog appears to be not only handsome but also alert, sensitive, and wise. Please continue to express yourself through art and share your works with us! Love, Mummum and Pop

Oh, Kathryn, your great-grandfather Kern would be thrilled to wear a tee shirt bearing your artwork, especially this plea for someone "to go polish the stars!" The message is both clearly and creatively presented in your work. You're a star!

I love this piece! I like how you carefully chose your lettering style for emphasis on some of the words, and the poem fits in the Star except the direct order for action: "to go polish the stars!!"

Ah, Kathryn, your painting is inspiring and relaxing with the detail of the flower and the majesty of the mountainside. Well done!

Kathryn, your art is both appealing and informative. Within the spring-green hopeful color, your important message is clear.

Kathryn, I can't believe this was one of your first attempts with surrealism. The movement in this picture is awesome! And the truck licking the girls feet (while gross!) is convincing! I love your choice of nail polish for the tongue. Keep creating! Keeping expressing yourself!
