Alyssa, The moon and the stars, right up our alley!! Do you think, maybe, one evening we will be calling (or texting ??) each other and the sky will have theses colors sparkling all over? I just wonder, is this what you hope to see? Great job, not one star is the same and the moon is big and full, just like we like it! Keep up the good work, sweetie! Hope you are having fun in art class! Love, hugs and kisses-Grandma and Mike

Hey sweetheart! I am so excited that you drew a picture of New York! Grandma and Grandpa Mike really enjoyed our visits there. We like sharing interesting facts about our trips with you and your sister. Do you realize how high in the sky you would have to be to fly over the skyscrapers? As high as an airplane! What a great way to view the city. You chose all the right colors too, New York City is very colorful! My guess is that you are flying over Times Square with all the digital ads flashing. You make it a goal to visit one day and travel over the Brooklyn Bridge too, by car or foot when you do though, no flying. Maybe even on a bike! Keep your art supplies handy, you are becoming quite an artist. GREAT JOB! Love, hugs & kisses, Grandma & Grandpa Mike

Hey Alyssa, Cool jack-o-lanterns. Very friendly too, just like you! Let me see could they be mommy & daughter, sister & sister, daddy & daughter OR GRANDMA & GRNDAUGHTER? Seems to me the moon has a secret message about your drawing. I like it. Keep up the good work! Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Dear Alyssa, BBBRRRRR! This is the cutest snowman! His nose looks like a REAL carrot, his hat and scarf warm (oh, no!) and his smile is awesome. You are doing a fantastic job coloring. Makes me wish for snow so we can build our own then get warm with hot chocolate. Good job signing your pictures so everyone knows you are the artist (remember to date them too)? Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Dear Alyssa, This has to be one of my favorites! You have a sweet loving heart. You may not realize, because you are so young, that you outwardly show your love for us in pieces like this. I Love you so much! Keep up the good work and sharing because it warms my heart! Love, hugs and kisses

Oh,Alyssa! I'm so exited to be able to view your school artwork again this year. Looks like this friendly tiger is playing "hide and go seek". I really like the different colors, sizes and shapes you used for the grass. Keep it up, GREAT job! O Love, hugs and kisses-Grandma

Hi Alyssa, I hope you had fun getting your hands messy while making your bowl. I would like you to tell me how you made it and why you chose that design and those colors. It's a perfect size to hold some of your special treasures. Would you believe I have clay bowls that your daddy and Uncle Trevor made when they were in elementary school? Remind me to show them to you. Keep up the good work and have fun! Love, hugs and kisses-Grandma

Dear Alyssa, I think your bouquet of flowers are beautiful! The long green stems, the flowers that look happy about the sunshine makes my day brighter! How many times have you wrapped your hands around a bundle of flowers like that to give to your mom? Remember to sign and date your work. Your art reflects your kind heart, stay sweet. Love, hugs and kisses-Grandma

Another great drawing job. A game of penguin "hide and go seek"? The VERY BIG penquin in the front must be "It". Hope he ate a good breakfast so he has lots of energy. That's a lot of snow to have to run acrossed to catch its playmates. Can't wait until you have art class again. Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Great job Alyssa, Your picture must have been drawn on a day when there was a beautiful Kentucky sunset for the background. I really like the colors in your picture. The shading in your tree makes the bark look like it is peeling, exactly how a birch tree looks. Ask your daddy about the birch tree that used to be in our front yard, near the swing, it attracted humming birds!!!! You had to sit real still when they visited or they would get scared and fly away. I bet humming birds would like your birch tree too! GREAT JOB!!! Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Oh Alyssa, This picture makes me smile so much! The colors are so bright and your cat pops right off the page. Your kindness always shows up somewhere in your work, I love that heart-shaped nose. I do hope that your cat is the thinking that the bird would make a nice friend and not a nice super. Keep having fun in art class. I am so proud of you! Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Hello Alyssa, It seems to me you are off to a good start in you Art Class, this is the first day, of first grade? WOW! What a great picture ! My guess is this is you and Havin all dressed up for school, playing together in the yard until it was time to get in the car. I can see by the smiles that you drew that you were excited about going to school that morning. And what a beautiful day it must have been, that huge sunshine would put a smile on anyone's face. Stay excited about school, listen to your teacher and learn many new art skills this year. Thank you for sharing your artwork and putting a big smile on my face! Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Dear Alyssa, This ghost looks really "scary". I hope you got a lot of candy trick-or-treating, to share with your mommy and daddy (Havin probably has enough) being a "friendly" ghost. I like the black cat too ! Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Dear Alyssa, You did a good job drawing your scarecrow. There are two things about your drawing that I like the most; his little green nose and that he is a friendly scarecrow with a big smile. Happy Halloween ! Love, Hugs and Kisses, Grandma
