Dallas, this new art work is strange and unusual. I wonder what inspired it. My first thought was Halloween, but that is probably because I associate ghost-like creatures with my birthday on Halloween. I like seeing your various creations on the web, and am glad that your school has a good art program. Did you have fun at the Superbowl? Starr

HI Dallas, I am interested to learn from you what the meaning is for each chosen symbol. I wonder if there is a cave somewhere in Arizona or the Southwest that has some of these drawn symbols. We will have to search for them some time. You are an awesome artist and grandson! Love, Nana

Dallas -- you have done it again with another winner. I particularly like the strength of the shading -- very bold.

Dallas, When I first saw your painting, "Animals Across the Savannah" I thought it was one that was chosen to decorate the whole website as a special advertisement. I am so pleased to see that you are an artist, as well as an athlete and a smart guy. This is what is sometimes called a Renaissance man - a person of wide interests and an expert in several areas. I am glad to know you - if only a little bit. Starr

Dallas -- Your grandma leonora told me about you art work and gave me the website to take a look. Since I am also an artist just like you, I thought you would like to hear what I think of your painting. I liked it very much. You are not afraid to use color and shapes and that is a good trait that you should never lose. Experimenting is what art is all about. It was clever to make the animals very dark so they stand out. This is a picture worthy of framing.

Hi Dallas, Your skill with color and sillouette shapes is excellent. The colors didn't run across the savannah. How did you do it? You are indeed talented! Love all of your art work! Nana
