This is your work in the 8th grade therefore I am sure you are a master by now. Good luck in the future. Your Brother is doing well also.

This is a study on King Tut. I liked it's simplicity. The new Arts Magazine features what is in our conversation.

Your pencil has done its job here. You have every stroke in the right place. Your proportions are very, very, good and they read what you intended. Who is this person? Is she your imagination or does she exist? Let us know...

This is a very difficult subject to draw because of how the figure is positioned. First he has a big head of yellow hair that looks real, then he has contrasting blue clothes and his flesh is a neutral. But even more important than that is the concept of foreshortening. Man, you got that arm perfect. Good job!

On the lineup this is my favorite. The proportions are masterful. My teacher call it foreshortening. It's in the arm.

I like this red. It does what you want it to right away. It grabs you. You are good Lucas. Please tell me you will stick with this career choice.

This was a difficult project. I admire the two student's who created this work, Lucas and Matthieu. They made it in ArtClub and I watched as their talent unfolded. They started to draw and I could not understand it at all. Then they painted it. It took 7 weeks of painting and painting, three coats in all. I heard the teacher say, many times, you do not have the paint thick enough so they painted some more and ran out of the background color. The teacher got it from another school. They finished. They had 15 panels and I could not understand how it was going to be put together but saw it in the Exhibit, it was Great. Look at the full panel.

I saw this clay sculpture on Thursday of this week and I was blown-away. Considering Lucas is a 9th grader, this is great. The body is in not broken, the color is great and it stands, WOW. It could not be better and I would buy it if it was for sale.

This little drawing is so small I almost missed it. I thought I was looking at a drawing that was incomplete. A second look revealed a very powerful work of art. Good art has no size. WOW!

Your subject matter interest me. I like fashion and especially this from old world China or Japan. I like how you have taken this work and made it your own. The line drawing and the shaded one make a good composition.

I really like this view of your drawing. The lines are really busy and they are emphasized by the shading. It is the action of the line that really caught my attention.
