This lion took my breath away, it is so beautiful. This lion has character--lionlike, of course--yet there's more. He seems appropriately fierce, but amiable, too, for the moment. Liam, you've really got a lot of talent (which you did not inherit from me; I can't even draw a box). I really enjoy your paintings. PopPop Aren't insects wondrously made! Have you closely observed different insects before, or was this artwork your first scrutiny of the parts of insects? If I were smart enough, I might have been an entomologist, or more especially, lepidopterist. I loved insect collecting when I was young. Wish I'd kept my collection. Hi Liam, That is beautiful, sort of abstract, not like Picasso, but reminiscent of Matisse and his beautiful cutouts. And it also reminds me of the famous Minnesota duck stamps, because that could be a Mallard duck in the middle, don't you think?
