Hi Liam, I love your use of color and the detail you've added to your mosque. Great work!

Liam, I really love your use of color and the patterns you've created by the color choices that you made! I especially like the mirrored images.

Wow, I love this painting. You really captured the concept of the reflection in water. Great job, Liam!

That house looks like one I would like to explore, especially the cupola at the very top, only in daytime. I like it a lot! Love, Linda I like this picture a lot. Looks like you have combined realism with some kind of modern art, but I can't put a name to it because I don't know that much about modern art. But I like it a lot. Love, PopPop

This lion took my breath away, it is so beautiful. This lion has character--lionlike, of course--yet there's more. He seems appropriately fierce, but amiable, too, for the moment. I noticed that you drew the curve of the lion's back and belly. PopPop says it looks like the lion just ate. Love, Linda and PopPop

Wow, Liam! The dragons really look like they are going to jump off the page. Great choice for their color.

That's a beautiful picture, Liam. Where did you get this artistic talent? You certainly didn't get it from me, but maybe you inherited some from you grandmother, Duane, who was an accomplished artist. I envy you. I can't even draw a box. Love, PopPop Liam--gorgeous art!!! Love, Linda

Especially like this composition. It seems peaceful despite the bright primary colors.

Liveliest cow I ever saw! Do you know the Ogden Nash poem about another colorful cow? "I never saw a purple cow, I never hope to see one, but I can tell you anyhow, I'd rather see than be one."

Liam, you've really got a lot of talent (which you did not inherit from me; I can't even draw a box). I really enjoy your paintings. PopPop
Aren't insects wondrously made! Have you closely observed different insects before, or was this artwork your first scrutiny of the parts of insects? If I were smart enough, I might have been an entomologist, or more especially, lepidopterist. I loved insect collecting when I was young. Wish I'd kept my collection. I'm glad your school is making art so interesting. Linda

Outstanding! I really like the color combination and the way the color gradations give the columns a sense of 3-D. It's pleasant to just gaze at them. Thank you for sharing your artwork, and thanks to your teacher. Love, Linda and PopPop

Liam, Wonderful! Not only could I not do such an elegant (look it up) piece of art at your age, I still cannot. Love, Papa Dale

Liam, What a great job you do. It's hard to pick my favorite but I love the Spring colors in this one. Your teachers are to be commended for their time and talent in encouraging you and Alma to achieve such beautiful works. I look forward to receiving them. Love, Carol

Hi Liam, That is beautiful, sort of abstract, not like Picasso, but reminiscent of Matisse and his beautiful cutouts. And it also reminds me of the famous Minnesota duck stamps, because that could be a Mallard duck in the middle, don't you think? Anyway, like your Dad said, in a picture that is really art, and this is, people like me can see lots of things. Wish I could do this but I never could. Lots of love, Pop Pop
