I saw this and I was delighted. What a wonderful way to display your children's Fine Arts Work. It was not overcrowded, it was gentel and allowed the youngest to the oldest viewer to see everything and I can't wait to see the young artists next works.I will never forget it. Teacher, you and your helper out did yourself when you mounted this one. Great Job!

This is the best thing that has ever happened to our Basement area. I like to visit there and look at the Art Work, especially this...

Students abilities are dependent on their own dedication and ability to work no matter what.

This is a beautiful artwork that perfectly demonstrates the talent of Orange Prep Academy. It is a mural that is placed in the hallway for all to see. It leads to the art studio where the magic begins. It shows how we all make art differently and art has many ways to presenting itself. This mural perfectly describes the art studio and its students.

I like this Mural. I like how the people in this picture look. I also like the topic. The topic is art, if you didn't already notice. The picture is about artists painting, well, a painting in the studio! All in all, this is a great piece and I would gladly admire it anytime I see it.

The Art Club has done a great job. The drawing and coloring are perfect interpretation of the student Vonashie's work some five years ago.

When I started with this Art Club project I thought we would never finish but working on it any chance we could, even Saturdays, made it materialize very quickly. We only had to change a few areas. The mirrors are the most innovative sections. I like how it looks on camera.

I enjoyed gluing the tiles to the design. I had no idea it would look like this. I also know that we will grout it and it will change its tone or shade.

Seeing the details or the small parts of a mosaic is very important. We had a lot of fine matching or skilled work to do and we almost finished the job. The next step is outlining some parts and the grouting around the tile. It will be interesting to see what the next club will do, Art Club 14-15. I can' wait.

We started each session with a clean slate and determined just what to do for the day. I also worked on cleaning up the mistakes. It felt good working as an Art Club Leader.

Wow, I didn't know this project would come out like this, it took so long and changed many hands. I like the part of Lucas. He chose the idea by Vonashie drew the idea, collected the color tiles and started the process. This part took three months. Then the girls started to match the colors to the painting. We decided to use mirrors for the girls skin. I really got interested. It took another three months. The Dance Teacher gave us left overs from a table she recreated and we had the hair. We finished by final exam so the teacher gave us extra credit. Ashley, Joselin, Ruth, Kimberly, Maria, Lorenzah, Sismai, Yasmine, Erline, Mishell, Brenelle, Fatima, Valini, and Jessica and Chelsea.

Mosaics are a powerful technique started so long ago. It is ceramic but can be made of paper to learn the technique. I love how the colors have an optical mix that stays in your mind.

Second major project from the Art Club. This is a Ceramic Mosaic. Made of a legendary painting by Vonashie five years ago when she was at the Middle School in the Art Club. It is made up of ceramic parts on plywood. It is four feet by five feet and is very impressive. It is also nearing completion .

This is our beginning for this unit in learning about graphic design. I like every single one completed and got into the exhibit. Look at how we are learning to see color and design in the real world.

This is my kind of Painting. It is big and bold. You can see it all over the Lobby because it is big.

You really get a sense of this great man when OPA exhibits it each year. It is big and overtakes you. It was done a few years ago by our Art Club. Each year the new Club restores it and hang it for the new classes to enjoy i. Well Done Art Club.

I worked on the restoration last year for the Dr. King Mural Banner. It was a pleasure because it meant that we have our own art treasure and I hope we keep it forever so that future generations will like the paintings we see when we visit our gallery at OPA. Good call Teacher and Principal.

I saw this in the lobby and I was overcomed by its size. I measured it and it is 14 and one half feet long and 8 feet wide. To see the girls touching it up and repairing it before they hung it was just great.
