Love the colors of your mandala. I looked up the definition as I wasn’t sure exactly what a mandala is is other than a pretty and colorful design. What I learned is very interesting and makes your design more meaningful. Luv U, Grandma W. :)

I think your idea for opening your school lockers by using your fingerprint is a very clever idea. Both of your drawings were very good and depicted the idea clearly. Maybe engineering is in your future. All kinds of choices for your future, dear Grandtr. Love you lots, Gram ??

I appreciate your longer explanation of your process with this one; why you made the creative decisions you did. I like that you did your own designs and that your use of color is more subtle, making the elephants more of the focal point. Having them facing the same way denotes to me the importance of community for elephants. The “circle of life” theme? Love you honey, Grandma. ??

Hi honey, I really love your use of color on this piece and the way you outlined each person says so much. The theme absolutely is one of the most important ones facing our world and our country! You depicted it very clearly. A real statement. Love it! And you! Gram

Interesting how different it looks in the 3 different colors! I'd be interested in seeing this in person. :)

I really like it - a track to the future with mountains - lofty goals - with people and a home along the way, is what I see in it!! Grandpa Warsen

I really, really like this...maybe one of my favorites! I like the black and white and the use of shading and great detailing: the mountains, rocks between the RR ties, the clear way the tracks move into the distance. It seems very accomplished to this Grandma’s eye! Love you, Sweetie ??

I'm wondering if this is supposed to represent anyone in particular. I'm thinking, based on your artist statement, that it's not. Let me know! :)

Hey Grand girl, I missed this earlier and love it cuz I love color and love what you chose to use here. I like the design very much, too, and the creativity that went into it. Nice! Love you, Gram ??

You should definitely talk to someone about changing to this color scheme! I'm sure it's way more exciting than what's there now. Although, I suppose it could be over-stimulating for some. I do love the colors though, and the clean lines! (Oh, and YOU--especially you!) xo

Miss Sophia, I like this and as with other art you've done, I like your work that has structure with your design; maybe architecture in your future?? That would be cool...none of those in our fam so far. However, whatever you do, you will be fabulous because that's who you are! Much love, Gram Happy 13th coming up! ????

The perspective of this one is awesome! It reminds me of our New York trip--looking at some of the shorter buildings from the hotel window. I don't know that we saw buildings with all those cool shapes, but it definitely gives it character. Love it!

Your bun looks extra cute with a soccer ball and Michigan emblem in it! Too bad you didn't actually have a picture of Lucy to use since you love her so much it hurts! ;) Again, I love the creativity--you rock! Love you!

Hey Grandgirl, what I like about this art in photography form is the idea behind it:as you said, there are many parts and sides to each of us which is what makes us all unique and special. Just looking at someone doesn't really give us the full "picture". Your photo tells us that in a very clear and artful way. Great work! Love you bunches, Sophia Gram xoxo

Hey beautiful gdtr, love the focus of your loves & interests, especially the one with your sis, Olivia. Like your mom, I treasure my relationships with my sisters; so very special. You have lots of talents but the best is who you are: fun, funny, smart, kind & loving. What more could a grandma ask for!? Love you bunches, Gram & Grandpa, too ?? I really love the gold medallion(?), too!

I'm always so impressed! I don't ever remember doing a "real drawing" like this when I was in school, and even if I had, it would not have been as good as this. I'm very glad you got that Bentley artistic gene from Dad!!! :) Love you!
