love that blue swirl! I am interested in the right-hand corner coloring. What is that exactly and how did you get the colors to "bleed" like that? Love your work Elias. Mama

I am amazed by how you captured your "life" in those eyes and that grin. This is good stuff Elias, and I know how hard you must have worked to have this great finished product. You should be proud of this great effort. I love you, Elias. Mama

Elias, What a wonderful effort and picture! You should be proud of your perseverance in getting this done. Besides capturing that sly grin of yours, there is a soul in this picture that not everyone could produce, but you have. Who knows you may have a career as an artist. You've done something very special here. Love you, Dad

Elias, That is an amazing improvement. Wow! You are learning such patience. I can see how serious you were also about your goals that you presented in the parent/teacher conference this fall. I am very proud of your effort and your diligence to stick to your goals. I love you, Mama

Elias, This is wonderful! I love the feeling of flowing water that I get when I look at your painting. Your usage of different blue tones makes this painting feel very quiet. The touch of light pink adds some whimsy to the painting. Nice job! Mama

Hey Elias. this guy is cute with his big pink ears and green eyes! I like him. Is he a creature of your own imagination or does it come from a known character? I especially like his tail with the black tip-nice touch! Mama

love this painting Elias! reminds me of the many times we've gone to the ocean to play in the sand and the waves from the time you were a newborn right up to the current day. The soft blue and gray colors are very evocative of the ocean's feel. Nice work. Mama

Elias, I like the way you use simple symbols to connote positive and negative scenarios. Your use of blue makes me feel calm in the left side and your usage of red feels dark and menacing. Well done. Mama

Elias, I love this blue color that you used in this portrait. It feels like a quiet picture. It also makes me feel that this person is a thoughtful rather quiet person. Nice work especially on the eyes. You rock Elias! Mama

Great job Elias, I like it. They may not make their buildings the way we do, but the grace and style in which they do is beautiful. You've caught some of that, Keep up the good work.
