Max, this was one of the first times that you completed a project quickly and easily. You usually give great care to the details. I like both approaches. But it's cool to know that you can do a good job quickly, don't you think? Keep up the good work.

I'm so glad you are back at it! And this one really surprised me. As you said, it's different than what else you have done. I love how bold and graphic it is.

Trees come in all sorts of sizes. Even in the middle of winter when they are dormant they look unique. You captured that here, Max. Keep up the good work! I am looking forward to your next piece. Have you decided what you'll do next?

Max, do you know what I like most about this picture? It is the ease with which you drew it and the speed. You just started and before much time at all, you were done. That tells me that your skill has been developed. I can't wait to see the next piece you do!

Max With artistic talent on both sides of the family you are taking on the banner for the next generation. Your great aunties Diane & Jane love to do & excelled in intricate & detailed pen & ink and watercolor art. It thrills me to look at your work, this picture will hang on our wall. Granny

This work is so impressive in so many ways. The level of detail with the tree and houses in the background. The final touch of the blue-gray background is also not what I expected either. Very moody and beautiful. Max you are an amazing artist!

Max, you already know I LOVE this. You'll remember that when you first showed it to me I could not take my eyes off it or quit exclaiming about how good it was. I saw your artistic ability from the start of your time with us, but this is the first work of yours that shows to this level, your skill and artistic ability. Wow! I am so proud of you! Keep up the great work!!! You are well on your way and I'm sure that if you continue practicing and developing your skills, you will continue to increase in ability and flair, and you will produce one piece after another that you and others will love.

Max, I always love your trees. I am still hoping you will do a series of them. Simple lines here, drawn so carefully, created a neat and clean outcome. P.S. The picture you are working on now (your best tree and scene to date) is dynamite! Can't wait!!!
