Hi, Elliott! I just saw your beautiful interpretation of "Amber waves of grain" & I was touched by the way you captured one of my favorite memories of childhood! My family often traveled to the Colorado mountains to escape the Kansas heat during the summer. I liked the mountains & their "purple majesty"; however, I always felt a sense of relief when we crossed into Western Kansas.
