Revealing the influence of a certain auricularly deficient Dutch master, this piece by Carter radiates with the very sunflowerness of the sunflower. It envelopes the eye with the bold declaration, "I am a sunflower!" An excellent example of the artist presenting us with the world through his eyes. -- Uncle Tim
