Fifteen years later, Memories of 9/11 came flooding back and remind me of the shock that we had been attached by Terrorists both in New York and Washington, DC. I applaud your background in which I interpret fire and images all twisted and reaching for the heavens, which is how so many of of us felt that day. Opened in 11/14, the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere stands proudly at 1,776 feet, and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, is the engineering marvel we proudly call today "One World Trade Center". Yes, Nicole, we shall always "Remember"

Dear Nicole...I believe that this is my favorite work to date; as I went back and reviewed all your earlier entries, I see such growth and freedom in your colors and movement. I am very impressed with the skier and the mountain and snow run, great proportion. Also, the newest to me, the swimmer outside the gym shows excellent proportion and form. Your improvement is so apparent, and I am delighted that you are allowing me to follow your growth in art!

Dear Nicole...I am truly fascinated by this piece of art, and if you will permit, you have allowed me to travel back to the shore when Grandma Sue and I use to race through the early evening hours, lids off our mason jars to better catch fireflies. I love the trees, and the moon peeking out, this piece brings joy and precious memories, and that is what art is all about! PPS. Do know we let them fly free before lights out.

This painting is of one my favorite stuffed animals, Spells, and loved being able to have her while I painted this. I hope to do more paintings of my other stuffed animals too.
