Very well done! You demonstrated an understanding of both techniques and developed variety in depth. You used pattern and texture to create a very strong piece.

Great use of materials available! You met the criteria of being both a lovely piece and being macabre!

Every time I look at these pieces I am amazed at how complicated they look and how easy they were to create. Keep up the good work and be proud of what you accomplish!

Your work has improved this year. You are experimenting with more color and detail and spending more time on your work. Your choice of colors and placement give this piece a great deal of depth. You should be very proud of yourself and this piece.

The scene is obvious at first glance. Well done!

This is interesting. You chose to do a second piece that is in reverse of your first piece, showing the interior of an icy mountain from an exterior window with the volcano in the background. Using the glue to create an icy surface was a good idea. You are still thinking out of the box. Keep up the good work.

Well done. You shared the feeling of being overwhelmed by the number of decisions made daily as well as the confidence that although some are difficult others are easy. Your illustration echoes the message of your poem.

Although this piece could stand alone as a text only image, you illustration is fitting to the poem. Keep up the good work.

A window looking into a volcano- this is such an unusual way to show an interior and exterior scene within one picture! Your combination of drawing and collage is very interesting. Keep up the good work!

The fish scale looks like broken glass or a spider web when magnified. I really like that you chose to use color in some of the renderings. You did a great job in all four renderings. Keep up the good work.
