You've created another great work of art. I looked at the other 5th grade value/shading designs, and I think yours is the best of all - both the color choices and the layout. Excellent!

What interesting facial features. Your mask look fierce and sad at the same time. You get to do such interesting projects. What is it made of?

This looks very complex and like it took lots of time and care to complete. You have included many different design elements. Now that you know how to do this kind of art, will you ever do one in color?

Hunter, this is an interesting art form. Because of it, I have learned that koru represents life, growth, and movement. Although I had previously read about the Maori people many years ago, I was unfamiliar with koru until now.

I like your lion's facial features. Do the characters to the left of it mean anything or did you invent them? This looks very simple, but I suspect it was not easy to do!

What a marvelous job!! This character sure looks like he is screaming so hard he had to cover his own ears!! The background is really eerie and it appears that he is on a bridge that is very high off the ground. Great colors in the sky too!! Love Gma and Gpa M

Hunter- what can I say except another beautiful picture. It seems that I'm looking down into a koi pond and those fish are showing how hungry they are. They seem to be saying, "Feed Me!" Excellant artistic endeavor again!

Hunter - this piece of art shows variety in the way things can be expressed with colors, shapes and how you placed them on the paper. The triangles reminds us of a school of fish. We are surprised at the variety of art you have been exposed to.
