Creating abstract work can be more difficult sometimes than figurative because of what you said. You feel like you're starting from nowhere and there are so many possibilities! I like the contrast between the bold black and white background and the lighhteer drawing on top. It's also interesting that the background is very 2 dimensional but the draawing on top is in 3d.
