Max, all the hard work you put into this art piece really shows. The colors and lines for the branch give it a realistic texture and a place for your lovely cardinals to rest. And of course, the snowflakes falling, which we are used to here in NW Pennsylvania are an added bonus. Well done, Maxie! Love, Gramma & PapPap

Hi Max, I love your picture of the two cardinals with the snow falling! Keep up the good work! Love, Aunt Mary

Gramma and PapPap are loving your Evergreen Trees artwork. With all of the snow we received, your art project reminded us of looking out our window. We enjoyed all of the white paint drops you used to represent the snow falling and collecting on the ground. We can't wait for you to share how you made your tree look so real with what technique you used. Love, Gramma & PapPap

Max, we love your jack-o-lantern project. You used a lot of different elements to create this colorful project. The background really makes your jack-o-lantern pop. Your use of curved lines on the pumpkin help make it look real and you didn't forget to put a stem on top. The black construction paper for the face features help give it the carved look. Well done! Love, Gramma & PapPap

Max, I saw your new art project, Pencil & Paper Line Design this evening. Your pencil with eraser looks almost real, I love it. Also, that you drew your own lined paper, very realistic. I also see that you used some of the lines you learned with your last art project: dashes, curly, wavy and some others. I can't wait until we see you in less than 2 weeks and you can share with me some of the other lines you used. Well done, Max! Love, Gramma and PapPap

Max, Your first artwork in first grade and you nailed it!! I see you used a number of different shapes, lines, and colors in your Line Rockets artwork. I saw straight lines, zigzag lines, wavy lines, dash lines and curly lines (which are kind of tricky). Well done, Maxie!!! Love, Gramma and PapPap

Max, what an outstanding job you did with painting Monet's Water Lillies. I bet it is because you, like Monet, really enjoy nature and the outdoors and your artwork positively reflects that interest. Go Maxie, go! Love you, Gramma & PapPap

As I shared in your postcard we sent, this heart artwork makes me smile each time I see it. The contrast between the dark outlines you used and the colors in between makes for a perfect stained glass heart. The background shades in pastel colors helps to make the heart POP. Love, Gramma and PapPap

Max, You must have remembered your trip to Muleshoe-Bend-Recreation-Area- when you started drawing these bluebonnets. They reminded me of the picture with you sitting in a field of bluebonnets. Keep up the great artwork. Love, Gramma and PapPap

Max, The background colors you chose help to make your frog stand out. The frogs eyes gave me the first clue that it was a frog, very froglike! And it looks like you included two flies, which frogs love to eat. Very creative! Well done. Love, Gramma and PapPap

Max, Gramma found your color choices for the blocks (which provided such a great contrast to the black handprints) and the color choices for the palms of the hands fascinating. Perhaps when we video chat next you can tell me a little about how you decided on the colors. The six high fives look fabulous on the necklace, magnet for my bracelet, and the refrigerator magnet I bought. Love, Gramma
