Hi again Emery, I see I called your turtle by the wrong name. You named it Mexico turtle and I wrote Mexican! I assume you called it Mexico because that is where your turtle is swimming in the ocean, in Mexico?? Is that right? I love it wherever it is! Grammy

Hi Emery, Do you love turtles as much as I do? They are such a gentle giant. Some day I hope you get to go to Hawaii and see them come up on the beach so you can get really close to them to admire how wonderful they are. Your Mexican turtle is so beautiful swimming in the green blue ocean with lots of other sea creatures. Did you make his shell look like a taco shell and that's why you named him Mexican turtle? Actually, their shells do look similar to a taco naturally! I have a friend who is in Hawaii now and she took some really beautiful pictures of the turtles up on the sand. I'll show you sometime. Hi Emery, You are doing a lot of art this week!! I'm so glad because I get to enjoy it with you. Your art piece is so aptly named The Beautiful Flower Garden because it is just that. I so love the details on the leaves and the coloring in the middle of the flower heads. Is that a taller flower behind the biggest flower on the left? That is such a cool aspect to your drawing. Hi Emery, This little tulip is just the most adorable flower with its happy smile, sky blue face and sparkling eyes!! Hi Emery, I'm so glad you showed me your art from Kite Parade last time we were at your house because I love seeing your art in person, as well as on the Artsonia website. I was going to say my favorite thing about this is the color choices but then I also love the kites being all together. They feel happy being together, big ones and small ones, just like adults and children. We should all go to the beach sometime and fly kites together! Love you

Hi Emery, What a beautiful lion!! You did such a good job with the shading on his face, it makes his face so realistic, including the detail below his eyes. I'm assuming this is a male lion because I think the colorful rainbow colors around his face represent the mane. That's just my interpretation though. You can correct me if I am wrong. I like your color choices, both the colors next to each other and the colors layered on each other around the mane. They look so good together and I feel like you put a lot of thought into your choices. I hope you had fun creating this art. I sure enjoyed seeing it! Love, Grammy

Hi Emery, I adore your bookworm for so many reasons. I am going to assume bookworm is a she. She is so cute with her glasses on. She looks happy so she must be reading a really good and enjoyable story. She has no distractions in the room so she can focus on reading. Hi Emery, I'm so glad to see more art created by you! It always brings a smile to my face because each one of your drawings has so much character which makes it so unique. And each one is always so very cute. I see this little bird, can I call him blue bird, appears to be flying in for a bite to eat. Hi Emery, thank you for sharing your beautiful rainbow sunset art with me today, especially since we are enjoying the sun shining for real today!! I like the way you named your drawing rainbow sunset because it combines the colors of the rainbow with the colors of a sunset. Lots of times we do get rain and clouds and sun together which helps create that beautiful sunset that you have drawn. Nightfall is turning the trees dark which is a great detail you incorporated into your drawing. I like that as well as the birds looking dark against the colorful sky. Is the sun's reflection on the ocean which has taken on the color of the sky or is the reflection part of the sunset itself? It's such a nice drawing to enjoy today. Hi Emery, sorry I called your lemur a kitty on your last art. I missed seeing the title :) But it was cute no matter what! As always, your mushrooms first fall is super cute too. You draw the sweetest, happiest faces, they just make me smile! Have you ever tried eating a mushroom? Tell daddy to fry some up in a pan with onions and then put them all on top of your home-made burger. Your Grampy lovessss them that way. Another good way to have them is in your spaghetti sauce! Dear Emery, For some reason I missed this art from before. I'm wondering what it is called, does it have a name? I love the beautiful flowers and the tree but I feel sad for the kitty in the tree. Hi Emery!! Hands down, that is the cutest snowman (snowgirl) I have ever seen. I love the green mittens which are coordinated with the beanie. So adorable. Hi Emery, what a fun and cheerful piece of art you did. Did you name this yourself? The descriptive name just makes you want to eat this stack of ice cream cones right now :) It also makes me wonder what flavors they are. I feel like one might be banana, one pistachio, one mint and one blue moon. There actually is an ice cream flavor called blue moon that they have in the city of Chicago! The banana flavor on the bottom of the stack looks the most happy, maybe cause she is balancing all the other cones so well. They might be starting to melt, better EAT quick haha :) Love you, Grammy

I just thought of something else about your art that I like. Your presents are falling from the sky, which means Santa is dropping them down from his sleigh right near your tree. And, you drew some of your very own stars in the sky to add to the beauty of the whole picture. VERY NICE Grammy
