I hope you keep your printing plate and experiment more with printing the second color shifted to leave the shadow below. I think you are on to something with wanting to see the black beneath the color. I enjoyed discussing this piece with you and how you could improve it.

Congratulations, your hard work earned you a field trip to the Delaware Estuary. I am so proud of the hard work and dedication each of you put into your artwork.
