What a welcome scene for coming back to Michigan with no snow. I do love the snow and the decorated trees. Reminds me of the story Night Tree. Your spacing and the alignment of two trees under the peaks of the mountains along with the two that aren't spaced under give it dimension. I adore seeing your creativity and inner artist! This looks like it was a fun assignment. After seeing your line drawing of your initials, I was excited to see your acrostic letter E. I agree with each and every word you chose. I also appreciate the fonts you selected as they match the word when I picture it. Other words you could have used are: loving, empathetic, honest, cheerful, thoughtful, polite, generous, curious, hardworking, clever, trustworthy, dependable, respectful, courageous, sweet, bright, smart, cooperative, friendly, imaginative, witty, intelligent, brilliant, calm, creative and absolutely angelic! Just like with the rocket, sitting with ma petite artiste to hear about your work and thinking as you created this art piece was fabulous. Spotting your initials within the line work was exciting. The alternating lines between horizontal, vertical and diagonal add dimension to the work! Je' taime ma petite artiste!

It was so exciting to sit with you today and look at your artwork. Your rocket has texture and pattern. The shapes that you cut are on point. When I see your rocket, I think of what we could see if we took off on a rocket into space... Can you even imagine? Je t'aime ma petite!

Look at the textures you replicated in this piece of art! You also have exceptional detailing in your paper cutting for the pieces of your texture house. Oh the detail you have in this picture. I can feel the emotion of happiness as your animal looks right at me, I can imagine his fluffy fur, the patterns you used in his sweater are sublime! Lil Bit - I see a rainbow of colors in this piece. You used every color of the rainbow. You have such an eye for spacing. It makes it very easy for my old eyes to travel around your picture. I also enjoyed seeing the people in different positions instead of standing in a line. Standing in line can be boring at school huh! Love it ma petite artiste!
