They look exactly like the blue birds that eat from the feeders on our back porch. Your colors are perfect. Maybe all blue birds will start wearing sporty green hats.

What a lovely lady reading in this artwork from this European Series! I have a few questions. Is the lady a self portrait? She is giving a sideways glance, maybe to the person reading over her left shoulder! Who is that person? Which book is she reading? The lovely lady has beautiful hair and braids and jewelry, including a choker necklace. Chokers were very popular during that era. I really love this artwork and the questions that it invokes!

The little details that I like the most are: The pencils in your pocket, the easel and the paint brushes on the hill under the tree, the way your arms hang over the rail with one of your sister's arms behind your back, the way the sun and mountains peek over the horizon, and of course your big blue eyes.
