Great job on your patchwork quilt mixed media art, Audrey! I bet it was fun choosing all the different papers for the border. I love that you included a drawing of you flying like a superhero over our house. You really captured the details, even of our yard! I see you are following the style of George Rodrigue's Blue Dogs, but with your own spin! I like that you emulated his style by making your dog blue, too, but then chose to do your own style in the background. Why did you choose the colorful candies for your doggie? I love to see how you are learning about Impressionism (one of my personal favorite art movements!) and trying out mixed media in combining the oil pastels and watercolors. The bright colors here are lovely, especially for springtime when the colors in the world are coming alive again!
