Good job Shaun, each picture is well defined, different and eye catching. Looks like a good card that someone would like to trade for. You have developed your skill as an artist and I am proud of you. Love, Pop Pop.

Shaun, that is some wild looking fruit! They look like they may eat me before I had a chance to eat them. I loved the way you drew the fruit in the bowl and on the checkerboard tablecloth. Very good scale & proportion. Not just a one dimension drawing. This is one of your best! I like it a lot. Love, Pop Pop.

Shaun, your drawing has a beautiful array of colors all swirling around and in different shapes. Very creative and also very pretty. Your drawings are getting better and better. I am very proud of you. Love, Pop Pop.

Wow Shaun, great 3D drawing. The way you drew the road was very well done. I can see your sense of humor & imagination in this too. You are getting better and better and it looks like you are also having fun doing it. I am proud of you and I love you, Pop Pop.

Wow Shaun, that certainly is a crazy color wheel. You also added a bunch of crazy objects in there. Of course the Mets, Halloween, maybe tornadoes or storms, an angry man or devil, a guy with a black eye and a couple of robots. Great imagination! I like it, good job! Love You, Pop Pop.

Shaun, this is cool. By the use of colors and shapes you have given this picture depth and action. Great Job, Love, Pop Pop.

Shaun, I like this. Totem Pole characters symbolize lots of things; animals, birds, religious, nature and on this one you symbolize a happy funny guy that can look one way with one eye and the other way with his other eye. That can be useful in the wilderness! Good Job Shaun. Love Pop Pop.

Shaun this is one of my very favorite art pieces that you've done. I love it so much. The coloring is beautiful and the eyes are so expressive, communicating exactly what I'm feeling these days. It's a masterpiece! I like that the assignment was totem poles.

These are creative shapes you have made. I am probably wrong but I think you made a caveman, a wheel (orange), the sun and I can't figure out the green and blue shapes. They could be used for necklaces or wind chimes. Good job Shaun, Pop Pop.

Shaun, great job! I remember you going to the game with your Dad. It seems you remember too because you drew a lot of details. Your drawing is spaced right with the features. That means it is proportional. The jerseys must be for the Jets because I get the impression they are your favorite NFL Team. I wish I had been with you at the game but now I have this great drawing to enjoy. I am proud of you and your drawing progress. Love Pop Pop.

The roar of the crowd! The thundering shouts of "Go Jets!" The smell of popcorn and old socks! This is a fantastic capturing of the Metlife Stadium, until recently the home of Snoopy and the gang. The retired jerseys are fantastic. I love the way Shaun has perfectly matched that brilliant green of the field. The start button makes me think that this might be some sort of cool video game start screen, which makes it even better. Great job, Shaun!

Shaun I love this one. The four panel designs is almost like a comic book. Super power robot birds are taking off the save humanity from some terrible monster. Each character has a unique expression and each one looks determined to be a hero. I like the way you matched the colors between the background, and the main subject. Gray-blue against a brilliant sunset orange, bright pink against the green sky of an alien invasion. I want to know more about these brave heroes.

These are cute complementary cats that are a color coordinated quartet of fun. Are they a group of friends or are they members of the same family? They all look happy so that is the important part. Great Job Shaun! I am proud of you putting so much thought into your drawings.

Another great one, Shaun! These cats looks a little scared. What could they be afraid of? Perhaps it's the duality within each of us? Are we good or are we bad? Can we be both? Is darkness more frightening than being in the light? OR - are these two brother cats, living far apart and missing each other. Are those Doritos hanging over the blue cat's head? Is he hungry? Will he share with his long, lost brother? So many questions, which is exactly what makes a great piece of art.

Shaun this is Pop Pop, it took me a while to figure this out but I like it these characters are cute. I think they are fish swimming in the water. Even if it is called an oops it still is creative and the fish(?) are having fun. Good Job! I am always proud of you. Love you, Pop Pop.

Shaun this is Pop Pop you did a great job on this portrait. You have observed the fact that one side of a persons face is not exactly like the other side. You have drawn a very pleasant, friendly face. You have a lot of talent. I am happy you are putting your talent to good use. As always, I am very proud of you and as always, I love you. Pop Pop

Wow!!! I love this lion! What’s his name? He looks hungry! ??. I love you to pieces!
Posted 5 years ago by Nana
Wow your lion really comes to life! With the streaks of color around the lion it seems like the head is flying forward really fast like in a dream. The streaks of color could also be the lion's mane. I can't decide. I know one thing, I don't want to get anywhere near those teeth! I like your lion portrait very much. Shaun, you did a great job! I am very proud of you. I show your art work to all my friends at work. They like it to. I Love You Very Much, Pop Pop.

This is a wonderful study in motion. Is it four balloons in a row? OR is it ONE balloon, seen floating upwards? Where the balloons overlap, the colors change, revealing the color wheel of secondary colors (orange, purple, green.) Fantastic.

This is an amazing one, Shaun. The fury of the lion, jumping right at the viewer, with the bright sun shining through his mane, looks so beautiful... right up until the moment he eats us! My favorite part is how you used lots of white paint in the mane. But I also love those red, angry eyes. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!! LION ON THE LOOSE!

Very good job Shaun! I like the shape of each balloon and I love how you show the colors and how they change when they overlap. Yellow & red becomes orange, red & blue becomes purple and blue & yellow becomes turquoise. Thanks for doing this for all of us. Art is good because it makes people happy. Pop Pop loves you and I am proud of you.

Wow! Look at those colors! This almost feels like an eyeball, a dragon's eye that is looking right at us! Ahhh! Run Shaun, run! Those color are marvelous. I especially like the way you've put purple, right next to red in the middle. And the green is so rich. Bravo again.

Shaun, Mouse Paint is fantastic. Look at those cute little guys getting all creative. I think that they are friends in art class together. Purple mouse has decided to paint a picture of his own foot. Careful orange mouse, no copying allowed! Green mouse has decided that artwork is his favorite thing to do.

I so look forward to seeing what you create! I love the colors!! Big hugs for you, Shaun!

I like this drawing Shaun but I can't figure it out. I'll ask you to explain it to me. That way I'll enjoy it more. I love you and all the talent you show. Your Pop Pop in Florida.

Very nice Shaun. I love it! - - The confident figure in the foreground greets the viewer with vibrant color as if to say, "What's happening, dude?" Yet in the background, danger lurks in the form of two glowing red eyes watching, ever watching. This is a moment, frozen in time, a drama yet to be played out. What will happen next? Only a consummate storyteller like Shaun can give us the answer. Well done!

Shaun did a fantastic job on this boat! Caught between the swells of an angry ocean, the brave little boat ventures on, bound for some distant shore to deliver exotic spices and jewels. The red hull of the boat is the perfect shape, and the mast stands defiant against the wind. Bon Voyage little boat! Great job, Shaun!

I love your boat, Shaun! I wonder what kind of adventure this boat is on? Are you the captain? :-) I love you!!

Shaun, you did a great job on this drawing. The swirls in the lines make it have action like it is moving, swirling around. The colored shapes seem like they are coming to life. I like this drawing very much. I am proud of my talented Grandson. Love Pop Pop

I love your art work, Shaun! Especially the beautiful colors you chose! Love you to the moon and back??????

Shaun's Lines and Shapes is a masterpiece of composition and color. The chaos of the lower right corner, gives way to the sublime openness in the upper left. The Ying and Yang, the push-pull of modern American life. A topographical map of the human soul and a long overdue salute to Easter eggs. Genius.
