I love how you chose an iconic monument from Iraq to represent your family roots, Elston. The shape of the hot air balloon mirrors the shape of the monument creating a cool repeating effect. I also like your choice to use a gradient background to tie this piece together. I see you've put a lot of thought and effort into this piece.

Where can I get tickets to fly on this awesome tiger-eye orange airplane? This is a such a wonderful picture. Everyone inside looks like they are having so much fun. The vibrant sun is shining so bright and the clouds are such a fluffy contrast to the vivid azure blue sky. I love all the tiny details you included far, far away, down on the ground. Hmm. I wonder where they are going?

What a fascinating flying vessel! It’s curious orange color matches that if the sun. It’s also interesting how the position of the plane divides the sky from the Earth. What do you think each of the passengers is thinking?

Wow! So fabulous. This looks like you took a real fish, dipped it in paint and printed it onto the paper. You had to press just right to get all the details of the fins, tail and scales. How did you get the perfectly round eye?? Awesome watery background.

This is the coolest snow globe I’ve seen, Elston. The golden mountains at the base give way to the serene, blue winter wonderland inside the orb in dramatic fashion. I noticed Yelf admiring the scene from above.
