Ethan, IT TURNED OUT GREAT!! I love what you said about your work, the reason for doing it and what you intended. Your color choice is perfectly eye catching and dynamic!. Kind of a brilliant move on your part, as well, is that the hand in the lower left uses a different kind of space....Your background textures and colors are amazing, with that wee bit of black and white, racing flag texture, around the hand that is 'closed'. Keep this up!!! Love, Aunt Von

Ethan! I want to wear a tie-dyed tee shirt...But, this reminds me of an eye...just staring out. I can almost imagine the other half. What is so interesting about this is it's 'asymmetry'...it's just slightly out of center, and that creates the dynamic. And, the juxtaposition of 'rounds' in the periphery and the diamond-like shape in the center. Nice job! I love to look in to kaleidoscopes, don't you? Aunt Von

Ethan, Cool project. It has great detail, you'll have to tell me if the symbols and designs you used have known meaning to go with them. Good use of color and shape....not to over done. I really like it!!!! Is it the top of your hand? It looks like the palm of your hand to me. Keep up the great work. You are very talented. Love, Mom

Ethan, I love 'The Quiet'...I can hear it and I can Feel it. This is so peaceful and it draws me in to this frozen, night time world of snow that can be soft, and fly-away, or crunchy beneath my feet. Shhhh....I can hear it...The Quiet...and I am all alone. Great job! Love, Aunt Von.

Ethan, This was a difficult project. Showing the large expanse of ones view of your cold winter night is not easy. I like your night sky and stars and snow covered trees. It looks like one of those noisy, crunchy, sub zero nights. Burrrrrrr. I always enjoy your creations. Love, Mom

Ethan, This is wonderful! Your best so far this school year. I love the colors, the "look" which is the hat! the plant in the background even has great form, natural and not stiff. You did a great job blending your style and the artist (Mondigliani) style together. Awesome job. Love, Mom

Ethan, This is a really cool project. I like all the components used to create the whole cave art drawing. And how timely that it ties in with social studies right now too. Was this the fierce tiger that the cave man feared? Great job. Love Mom

Ethan, What a powerful piece of Art....Must be direct from Lascaux or Altamira!! I love your choice of color and the sharp contrasts. Good job, indeed!! This is almost like a university mascot banner or something...Tell me,is that YOUR hand print in the background? The movement is incredible in this, upon my looking at it again. Congratulations!!
