Hi Colvin, somehow I missed this painting when it was first posted. Love this blue painting. It makes me think of a dream. One wonders about the story here that draws you into the painting, and all the different blues you’ve used sets a mysterious feeling to the painting. Great job, Valerie

Hi Colvin, you really have a creative eye. The colors and shapes work so well with each other, and I love the treatment of the leaves. What is your medium, watercolors? Did you work with wet paper to get the lovely blur of soft edges from color to color? Keep up the great work! Valerie

He says hi & thank you, Valerie!! He said he used his knee to shape the pot, then it was fired and then he painted the glaze on & it was fired again to make the glaze shiny. ??
