Just received your latest sculpture; I called it "Roswell, N.M" - with a cup of coffee from his/her local coffee shop! VERY fun!, Luv, Grrr-andma

Oscar: "Beauty" and "appreciation" are in the eye of both the creator and of the beholder. This one I am not sure what I am seeing, other than what appears to be a tornado, so you will have to explain to me, so that I can view it properly. Luv, Grrr-andma

Hi, Honey! So now you are becoming a "potter", as well as a "painter". Your Aunt Monica will be proud! Postcards with both views of your pots are on their way from Artsonia, as well as a new set of notecards (from your "tinwork" series!)! Keep up the good work! Luv U .....!

Hi, honey! With all of your traveling, what a creative art project! Maybe when you are a little bit older you will be a pilot like Grandpa Ernie, and fly big airplanes - or a hot air balloon for the Balloon Fiesta!

Oscar - I always love your color combinations! This one is very happy and positive, and reminds me that even in the dead of Winter, 2 days after the Winter Solstice, Spring isjust right around the corner. Luv, Grrr-andma!

Oscar - This piece is very interesting. How were you able to make your painting appear "blurry"? Very creative technique! Will be sending you the postcard! Luv, Grrr-andma

Hi, Oscar! this one you will have to explain to me. Was there an underlying theme to this piece? I see either 2 creatures facing each other, or one figure with what appears to be a knife in a hand or paw, held up to a beak or face -- or do I have it absolutely wrong??? I am totally bewildered, and will await your interpretation during our next conversation! Meanwhile, Keep painting! Luv, Grrr-andma.

Oscar - this one tried to sneak by me! It arrived with perfect timing however, as both the Artemis rocket finally launched from Cape Canaveral this week after several aborted attempts in September and October, and the Perseid Meteor shower is in its prime this week. As the painting had no title, I named it "The Northern Lights" for you, after the cosmos, since that's what it reminds me of !!!!!!! Luv You!

Oscar - Thanks for providing my new Christmas cards for this year! They are already "on order"! A true Renaissance person - an artist AND a musician! Luv U .....!

To: Georgia O'Keeffe, Jr.: I can feel it in my hand by just looking at your picture. Beautiful rendition! Luv U ....!

Oscar - I am delighted that your school is still working with Artsonia, so that I can order things from the pictures you paint! Look for the latest postcards in the mail after I get them in February! Does this one have a name? How about "concentric squares" (?) Luv U!

Honey, I just saw your latest artwork pieces. I love the "tinwork" theme. (We'll make a New Mexican out of you yet!) Since I never sent out any Christmas cards this year, I just ordered 6 packs of your newest picture, and will send out "Winter Holiday" cards instead. Keep painting! Luv U!

You now have 2 great fishes - a rainbow one and a salmon. It appears that your salmon is moving very quickly with his friends; they are churning up a lot of bubbles and movement in the water! Maybe they are swimming upstream, against the current. I've already put my order in for note cards and your postcard. You and Liam will have to jot down any new ideas you get in your sketch books until you get back to school and art class. Luv, Grrr-andma

A very inquisitive animal, indeed! I would like to visit him in our zoo someday! His "extra leg" is also very unique; I wonder if it's in use when he is actually walking or running, or just as a resting base, for stability, when he is only standing (?). Let me know what you think about that! Luv,

I would very much like to meet this spider: he has a very intricate mind, given the complexity of his web. Walter would be very interesting to observe! Luv,

I thought I had already reviewed this one but I guess I didn't. With the ice melting in the artic, where this wonderful animal lives, it's good that you painted a picture of what soon may be an endangered species. It's now been memorialized in a notecard and is in your Easter basket treat, which should be arriving soon. Enjoy! Luv, Grrr-andma

Oscar- you didn't tell me during your visit to Santa Fe that you had some other pieces - this one and the first one with the "orange slice" in it. These are very fun! Very modernistic! Luv, Grrr-andma

Hi, Oscar! I have not yet seen the title of your piece, but as Christmas just passed, it looks like Santa delivered a lot of presents and delectable goodies to your spider in its web! Very fun! Let me know its title and I will order the postcards. Keep on drawing!
