Dear Elliott, Uncle Randy and I love your newest artwork. You chose the most perfect colors which makes this piece of artwork so wonderful to gaze at. Maybe someday you can tell Uncle Randy and I more about the subjects in this beautiful piece. Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Dear Elliott, Uncle Randy and I love your Gingerbread House! It looks good enough to eat! Candy canes, gumdrops and peppermint candies remind us of Christmases when we were little! Merry Christmas! ???? Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Dear Elliott, Uncle Randy and I understand that your art class observed the changing shapes of the ground created by the elements (rain, snow, wind, temperatures changes, etc). We are glad you are learning such good observational skills. And we can see how you used those skills to draw your creature! Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Dear Elliott, Uncle Randy and I sure enjoy seeing your new artwork, Blue Dog. Blue Dog's eyes are looking right at us! We think the background of your picture is interesting too. It reminds me of bamboo. We like learning about the techniques in your artwork. Were you studying the artist, George Rodrigue, and his Blue Dog series of paintings? We're so glad you are learning about artists from all over the world. Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Hi Elliott, Uncle Randy and I are enjoying your latest artwork, Zebra of the African Savanna, with patterns resembling Kente cloth of Ghana. It is evident that you are learning so much in your art class. Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Hi Elliott! Uncle Randy and I sure enjoy seeing your artwork. You have a good imagination when thinking about what a creature from another world might look like. What if they looked just like us! That would be something! Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Elliott, your picture is very colorful. It's hard to work with water colors sometimes and you did a good job on the detail. Very Interesting. Love Nona

Hi Elliott, Uncle Randy and I are enjoying your latest artwork. We understand you were studying the French Impressionist painter Claude Monet and his series of water lily paintings. He is one of my favorite artists. Uncle Randy and I were able to see some of Monet's paintings at an art museum in St. Louis, Missouri many years ago. And we have never forgotten seeing those beautiful paintings. The shades of blues, greens and pinks that are in your painting capture the beauty of floating water lilies. We can tell that you are enjoying art class very much. Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy

Elliott, Uncle Randy and I are enjoying your latest artwork. You and Charlie look like you're having so much fun playing outside. The sun is shining and the sky is so bright. What a wonderful self-portrait! We understand that your class was studying the famous artist, Mary Cassatt, and her use of pure lines to emphasize shapes. We're so glad that you're learning about different artists and their styles of painting. I researched Mary Cassatt's artwork on my iPad and love her paintings and the story of her life as an artist. So I have learned about her too! Love, Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy.
