Hey Viking Friends and Families!
As we wrap up the first nine weeks, these young artists have already set a high standard for problem solving and creativity beyond my expectations. We hope you enjoy witnessing the growth of each student through their digital portfolio. What a joy seeing the amazing creations so quickly in the semester!
The 7-12th grade students are gaining digital citizenship skills as well as establishing a portfolio of their work and reflection statements documenting their learning in art. The K-6th artist are learning the publishing process as well. Please continue to spread the word to your family and friends about Artsonia.
Below is a list of items which may help in some upcoming projects. We appreciate any donations, please don't go out and buy them. Look at home first!
- used gift bags (small-medium) & tissue paper - to wrap small clay items for Christmas
- used bubble wrap
- paper or styrofoam plates
- tin foil
- packing tape
- colored sharpies
- painters tape 1-2"
Thanks in advance for your help. As most of you know, this gallery has fundraiser potential to purchase supplies for the art room. I'm including a link to our Wish List:
Amazon Wish List - Artsonia Funds Last year we were able to buy items such as a dish rack and visual timer to add to our class tools. We appreciate the support for the fine arts program in our district.
