By volunteering a couple of hours she was able to upload nearly 70 pieces of art. In the last week we have added five new galleries of work.
While it may have been more then 335 days with out measurable snow that wasn't the case in the art room! We spent some time before Winter Break combining science, art, and technology while celebrating the winter season. We first read about Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley and then watched this BrainPop video about the science behind snowflakes. Check out the fantastic snowflakes that 4th graders created with the Make-A-Flake website.

1st grade has been using the iPads to create a digital Valentine.
4th grade has been learning about the environment and pollution, especially to water. They are creating images that would show what they fish would say if they could talk.
2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade are continuing to work on the same projects as last week.
In the next couple of weeks, students will begin working on a "Doodle 4 Google" logo. The logo will be about your child's "Best Day Ever", so perhaps you could take a few minutes and talk with your child about that day. It can be in the past, present, or future.
Ask them questions such as:
- Who are you with?
- What are you doing?
- Where are you?
- When is it? (past, present, future?)
- Why is it your Best Day Ever?
