News from Dryden's Art Room- Sept. 7th

We have some fun news from Dryden's Art Room. Please take a moment to read (and vote!)

3. I created an interactive art game using our interactive whiteboard and mimio studio software.

4. I was asked to write blog posts for the National Art Education Association in September. Take a look at this one about our district's mantra, "Who Owns the Learning?"

5. Hopefully you have heard that Dryden is in the running for a $15,000 prize as a finalist in the McGraw-Hill STEMie Awards. See the way our online community has shown support on twitter.

6. The Daily Herald saw our online activity asking for votes of support for our Dryden Rotoscope Animation on iPads project and asked if they could do a story about it. View it here:

7. I just received our art room copy of the Spring 2012 Celebrating Art.com book featuring chidren's art selected from the Great Lakes Region. 45 Dryden Artists have pieces published in this book. Three were given "high merit" recognitions as well. Come see the book in person or view the images and see the names of the artists on my fugleblog:
