Finishing out the year

Dear Students and Parents,
As we finish out the school year, please note the following important reminders and updates:
1. Watch out for Artwork:
Students are bringing home artwork from the successful Spring displays! Thank you to all who came out and supported their students this month for the displays at the Van Singel and BCWMS. If any work does not make its' way home, you can see the full display of work on our Artsonia gallery.
2. Check Powerschool:
Please take a moment and check Powerschool with your student. Students who are missing assignments, may turn them in for credit once complete. If you would like your child to stay after school until 3:15, please let me know a day in avance so we can arrange that.
3. Thank YOU!
Do to your help, we had two first place winners and two second place winners for the Meijer Great Choices Film Festival. Student winners will be showcased at Celebration Cinemas on June 8th. The grant monies awarded to our classroom will be invested in projects and experiences that foster creativity in our students. Thank you again for taking the time to vote!

Just for Grade 7
We are looking for a student to design the Agenda cover for the 2013-2014 school year. The Art should include the school name, but could include a variety of things like our mascot or other school related events. Students must keep their designs black and white on an 8.5x11.5 sheet of paper. All work considered for the agenda cover must be turned in by May 31st to the Art classroom.Just for Grade 8
