Artist of the Week Nominee and Christmas Update

Hi Everyone!

First I want to wish everybody a Happy Thankgiving. I hope you are all enjoying the fellowship of this day.

Second - I would like to ask if you have a moment to vote for our own Brian H in 1st grade - his work  has been selected as a finalist for this week's "Artist of the Week" award for the PreK-3rd age group.  The finalist who receives the most online votes between now and Saturday November 28 will be selected as our "Artist of the Week."

The "Artist of the Week" will be featured on the Artsonia homepage and will receive a commemorative plaque from Artsonia.  In addition, Blick Art Materials has generously donated $100 gift certificates to the winning teachers and $50 to the winning artists.

P.S. The Christmas cards are about halfway done being uploaded to Artsonia, I plan to be finished before we get back to school Monday.

Also - Any student wishing to compete in this year's KoC Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest can touch base with me to get the entry materials. They are collecting those on 12/6. 3B has already done theirs as have a few other individual students. Email me at mdatz@ihmschoolmd.org with any questions.
 
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
