“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once (they) grow up.” – Pablo Picasso
Hello, I have exciting news to share!
Completed permission slips continue to trickle in from parents and the kids are putting in a great effort in the art room to finish their first round of artwork for uploads.
I am checking the completed paper permission slips which have been submitted, and adding email information daily.
IMPORTANT:
- Parents must go online and give permission to display their child's artwork on the Artsonia website In addition to the paper permission slip.
- By doing so you gain access to approve visitor comments, view feedback from me, and more. Once you confirm via email you will receive unique Student and PARENT CODEs to view your child's artwork.
- SO far, Southern Oak has 38% of student parents/guardians who have already granted permission online via the initial email sent by Artsonia. (kudos to all of you who have!)
- If you haven't received an email yet, you my want to check your clutter, junk or trash tabs in your email provider.
I will continue updating the emails provided on the paper permission slips over the next week and will arrange to send new emails from Artsonia throughout the time leading up to
Southern Oak's Open House on September 20.
If you prefer to handle thie entire matter in person, I'll also be available at the Open House in the Art Room to allow parents to digitally sign up/grant permission. I'll even give a quick overview of the uploading of artwork and features of the site.
Please feel free to stop by and catch a glimpse of the art room- I'd love to see you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Haraminac
