About this School Project (Pop Art Pets)
We talked about Andy Warhol and how some of his famous paintings were of everyday objects like Soup cans, famous movie stars, cocoa cola bottles, and brillo pads. He often used bright colors repeating them many times on one painting or print. His interest in things that were contemporary and popular defined his work as POP ART. Later in life Warhol decided to produce his artwork by silk screening instead of painting with a brush, We talked about pop art being popular art. In our art we repeated an image using the same bright bold colors in each picture but in different sequence.
