She also is an artist, she loves to create in many different ways! She hopes students learn important skills of being an artist that will serve them no matter what they do in life. These key skills being grit, practice, adaptability, communication, courage, and kindness to themselves and others. |

Sara Allen
Hello Negley Elementary! My name is Sara Allen and I am excited to be your Art 2 teacher. I am excited to get to know all of you and create some terrific art pieces this coming school year. This will be my 5th year teaching art. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in History and have my alternative teaching certification from iTeach Texas. I previously taught in Lockhart ISD and was Clear Fork Elementary Teacher of the Year 2021-2022! I love to crochet, paint, needlework, felt, sew... basically craft whenever I get the chance! We have been parents at Negley since 2015.
